There's something going on.

Seriously. In the past week I have talked to at LEAST 4 people that are friends or family and their lives are in turmoil. This isn't right. I know that times are going to get tough and I know that there are things that we will not like in this life....but, why so bad, so much, to so many people? To me it feels as if life is falling apart. People are not able to make decisions. I know it's tough to make the RIGHT decision. If we knew the future...that would make it alot easier. Anybody have any thoughts, I would sure be happy to hear them.

And then I read my verse for today~
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8

Sonshine

With the very busy week I've had, I haven't had a chance to even blog! So today...we didn't go to church and I'm going to relax! We had VBS this week and it was great. My group of kids were just the best. :)
Here are some pictures from our time at Sonshine. We had a wonderful time...aside from freezing and little sleep due to the noisy teens running around. But that's ok....we were still blessed and I am guessing they were too. :) We have decided that we do prefer Lifelight, but not totally sure why.
We managed to survive staying in our tent. I'd say that's pretty good for two girls who have rarely camped. My first air mattress didn't stay up the first night. My second air mattress made the rest of the weekend...but barely, it was pretty flat by Sunday. We managed the group showers very well. Of course we had our swimsuits along...so that was good! Our meals were mostly ate in our tent. They were pretty good too. :)
The music was just outstanding! I love to hear these artist not only sing but share their love for God. They are so encouraging.
Amy and I decided that we should travel around to every Festival and rate the event....the music, food, accommodations, courtesy of people, how many potties verses people! :) Hotels and restaurants are rated so why not Festivals?? :) I think we are on to something! When can we be hired?

WFW

So I've missed a few WFW and that is not ok!
I intended on making one last night with a photo from our weekend of praise and worship at Sonshine.
It got too late last night so I did nothing.
Tonight when I went to look at Amydeane's WFW I knew I had to "steal" her's.
(she's ok with that).
So I'm back in the game and here's my WFW (or really Amydeane's).

Sonshine Festival here we come! :)

Amy and I are heading out to Wilmar MN to attend Sonshine Festival. It starts Wednesday and goes through Sunday. Last year we went to Lifelight in SD and had such an amazing time that this year we decided to go to more concerts like it. We found out about Sonshine and are excited and a bit nervous too. We will be staying in a tent for 4 days. Now to most people tenting is fun, and it can be, but there will be LOTS of other people tenting too so to me that says....how long are the bathroom and shower lines!! It's hard to know what to pack as far as clothes because it can be very hot this time of year, but it can be also quite chilly. Today it rained here. Does that mean this rain is going there? Better pack for rain. We are planning on taking Amy's car since mine has 200,000 miles on it. BUT, her car is small....so we have to pack light. Right!
So as we prepare to hear the words "check check" as the artists set up their stages, do lots of walking and waiting in lines, stand with thousands of others praising God and being blessed by God's wonderful words of encouragement...please pray for us two girls who don't really have a clue what they are doing. :)
