Amy and I

Ok so I made Amy take pictures with me after we got home tonight! She's so nice! We took about 15 of them and they would pretty much all have turned out if it hadn't been for me. I don't look so good on pictures and she's a natural.
Glen left today to go get started on his new job. Not sure when I will see him next. That's what I don't like about the Trucking Business.
I don't have to work till Wednesday, which will be nice. I plan to just be home and recover from the Holidays. Lots of things to put away and clean up, so I am sure I will be busy.
We had company this weekend. Lynette and Marlin stayed here Friday night and Tom and Jeanette came to visit them and us. Brandon Hirsch was here on Friday afternoon. It was really nice to just sit and visit with family and friends. Sierra and Hannah got to come and play on Sabbath afternoon so that was fun too!
I'll try to keep blogging...and I hope to start adding more of my scrapbook things on here.

Baby News!

For those of you haven't heard...I'm going to be an Auntie again! Yes, Larry and Billie Jo are expecting an arrival in April. So far the Dr. says it's a girl! That's 5 girls for them! Crazy, but fun.

I'm working alot on getting things lined up for our Christmas Program at church. There sure is alot to think about when planning a Program. I think it will be a very nice night.

I'm very excited that Anthony is coming home on Thursday. We have not seen him since August. He doesn't get to stay home long...but it will be so good to have him here anyway.

I think the Holiday crabby bug has bit me! I've just been so very crabby, I don't even like myself. I hope it gets better soon! And I'm sure everyone around me hopes so too.

I have most of my cards done and sent, most of my holiday baking done, gifts wrapped...a few to buy yet. It's all coming along. Now I have to think about food while everyone is home and food for Christmas. ....and laundry... and cleaning up the house and....bills, oh ya, gotta send some of those off too. .....

On the Road Again!

For those of you who may not know..Glen is going trucking again. His last day at Schwan's is tomorrow. He will be driving a truck for a guy/company in Bismarck. I have mixed feelings about it. I've spent about 18 years of him being gone and not being able to plan for him to be home for stuff. With Schwan's at least we knew what his schedule was. It is very hard to make a living though on commissions only and that was Glen's reason for quitting Schwan's. They are a good company but should maybe look at their pay plans. I'm sure we will still buy the food as it is very very good!

What to do.

Have you ever felt like you have so much to do that you don't know what to do first? That's me tonight. And the crazy thing is I feel like just hanging out on the sofa and watching tv...well that'd get me like NOTHING done! I'm tired, my tooth is hurting, Again!, and I don't know what to do first.
Scarlett and I visited Grandma and Grandpa on Thursday night. Oh what a nice visit. They are the most pleasant people I know. To hear some of the stories of their past can just amaze you. Scarlett and I think it is pretty awesome that our Grandpas were best friends too! She and I had no idea of that the day we met(18 years ago). Grandpa said he was just in the hospital again. He looked tired and very skinny! He's a tough guy though.
Well I'm off to start somewhere....cleaning, Christmas program stuff, making Christmas cards, folding the load of laundry in the dryer....or sitting on the sofa!! :)

Bummed :(

Glen's digital camera is on the fritz! I just took some very cute pictures of Larry and Billie's girls and wanted to post them. The camera won't stay on...yes, I charged the batteries. I even went on the HP website and tried to fix it with their troubleshoot advice. I'm normally not a fixer person, but I NEED that camera! :(
I mixed up Peffernese cookies tonight. I haven't made those in a long time. I am not sure if they will turn out as the honey I used seemed a big thick and crystally. We'll see I guess.
Grandma Westman made supper for Bertha, Destiny and I tonight. It was very good as I expected and was a nice treat to spend time with all of them.
Well I'm off to wrap a gift I need to take to work tomorrow. Oh...my tooth, it's feelin' good! Just alittle sore, but I think it's gonna be good now. I hope anyway.

My mom was right!

Well she's always told me that root canals hurt and now I know!! They hurt like ..... ya. I suppose I should say though that had I taken the antibiotics like I was suppose to, it wouldn't have hurt like it did. But maybe if the antibiotics wouldn't have made me use the bathroom so much, I would have taken them! I think I'll be ok. Might have some pain yet tonight, but otherwise I am hoping it will settle down. Oh and we have to go back into the tooth later on because right now it's only cleaned out treated not finished! It needs some time to settle. I NEED some time to settle!! :) I had very patient people working on me and I do appreciate that alot!
I'm off to do some baking tonight. I have so pictures of the girls decorating cookies so maybe later I will post them.

26 Years

Yes, Glen and I have been married 26 years already. Crazy how fast time goes. I got these flowers today!
Oh, but they are not from Glen. They are from my Secret Sister! Thank you Secret Sister whoever you are. The flowers are beautiful and really made me feel special! I did tell Glen that I got flowers and that is was nice of him to send them to me!! hehe I had him going for awhile.
By the way, Happy Anniversary to Dad & Bev (26 years) and to Marc & Crystal (2 years).

#32 is out!

Yep, I had tooth number 32 (my last wisdom tooth) removed today. It had been giving me trouble for some time now. In fact we tried to take it out a few weeks ago and it was way to painful! Doc put me on meds, which, did not agree with me! I spent way to much time in the bathroom! Ok, and there is something I do not understand....after all the bathroom visits you'd think I'd have lost some weight, but no! This morning I weighed more that I think I've ever weighed!! That is so not fair! AND...we think that it's more tooth #31 that is bothering me after all...so that means a root canal now! Just lovely.
Well I'm off to look for some important things online. Hope everyone is having a great day!

I did it!

Well so it's done! Finally I've started a blog. Wow, I'm really getting into this computer. I love reading other people's blogs and on the scrapbook blogs I get alot of really cool ideas.
My family probably thinks I'm weird, but hey, that's ok.
My plans for this blog are to post alot of the scrapbook items I make and also some fun pictures.
Well that's it for now....have to go and try to figure more of this out.
